The purpose of processing personal data is to ensure participation in the Scientific conference organized by the University with a report or publication in the conference proceedings, publicity of the event, as well as informing about future scientific conferences organized by the University. Data on the represented University/company are used for statistical purposes. The conference will be photographed and filmed. The live broadcast, video recording and photos will be available at www.turiba.lv and on the Facebook page of the University. Conference presentations and collection of articles will be published at www.turiba.lv. The legal basis for personal data processing is Regulation of the European Parliament and Council no. 2016/679 On the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data and which repeals Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) Article 6, Clause 1 a) the data subject has given consent to the processing of his personal data for one or more specific purposes; f) processing is necessary to comply with the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party, except if the interests of the data subject or the fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms that require the protection of personal data are more important than such interests, in particular if the data subject is a child, as well as for a person who is chosen as the most appropriate. The conference application will be kept at the University for one year after the conference. Documents justifying the conference participation fee will be stored in accordance with the Law "On Accounting" for no less than five years. The video recording of the conference and the collection of articles will be stored until the topics discussed at the conference are relevant. Conference photos will be stored for 6 years. Data on receiving information about future scientific conferences organized by the University will be stored until the consent is withdrawn by sending the information to the e-mail address: turiba@turiba.lv. After the expiration of these terms, personal data is deleted. You have the right to request access to your personal data from the University and its correction or deletion, in the cases specified in the laws and regulations, to request restriction of processing in relation to the data subject, or the right to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability. With questions about the processing of your personal data or about violations committed in the processing of your personal data, you have the right to apply to the Data Protection Specialist of the University or to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority - the State Data Inspectorate. Your personal data is used only for the above mentioned data processing. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without adverse consequences by sending a notification to the e-mail address turiba@turiba.lv. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to withdrawal.
